The Yorkshire Dales are home to some of England’s most inspiring countryside, with heather moors, flat-topped hills and green valleys scattered with drystone dykes, farms and villages. The Dales are a paradise for walking; after that, there’s no better way to end a day of exploring than with afternoon tea at a traditional tearoom. Our Top 10 Favourite Pubs in Cornwall

Whatever you have planned for your holiday in Cornwall, there's nothing quite like ending the day in a cosy pub, warming up by an open fire or watching fishermen land their catch in the harbour. There are too many atmospheric, old pubs in Cornwall to count, but we have picked 10 of our favourites, which we highly recommend visiting if you can. 13th-century inn with low ceilings, open fires and great food and drink. Take a stroll on the Southwest Coast Path before settling in for an evening at the Tinner's Arms.
