Norfolk Broads
Holiday visitors are welcomed all year round at the Norfolk Broads - with or without boats. Those without will find perfect holiday cottage accommodation in one of the quaint Broadland villages. The Norfolk Broads are a series of seven rivers and sixty-three lakes, the majority navigable by boat. The Broads cover 303sq.km, most of them in Norfolk, with just over 200sq.km of The Broads navigable by boat.
The majority of the Broads are located in the northern half of Broadland, which encompasses the Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne. The Broads range from small ponds through to the large areas such as Hickling, Barton and Breydon, from which visitors can find a pleasing range of holiday cottages of all sizes, with waterside cottages even having their own moorings.
