Luxury Rural Retreat for Two on the North Devon Coast.

You will receive a warm welcome from owners Pete and Julie, who are on hand to suggest ideas for walking, cycling, surfing and places to eat out. Local maps and guidebooks are available in the lodges. Julie has a keen eye for details, and you will find your lodge spotlessly clean with fresh flowers and fresh milk on arrival. If you need us, we’re always happy to help. Otherwise, we will be equally happy to leave you to enjoy your stay undisturbed.

This lovely, bright, warm property benefits from a sunny south-facing position and floor-to-ceiling French doors leading onto the hardwood decking area. Underfloor heating keeps you cosy on colder days—Free WiFi throughout the lodge and a Smart TV in the living room. Your car is parked outside the door or in the guest parking area.

The bedroom is a real treat with king size bed and views through two large windows across the meadows. Watch out for wildlife, such as buzzards & barn owls. Early risers might even see deer grazing nearby.

Luxury bathroom with hardwood sink base and lit mirror. Towel rail and underfloor heating keep it toasty warm. Driftwood-style floor and fossil limestone give the lodge a beach feel, with the walk-in shower adding that luxurious touch.

The central living room contains the sofa, dining table, bar chairs, and kitchenette. The kitchen has all you need for a short break: microwave, fridge, twin hob, kettle, toaster and a thoughtfully selected range of pans, crockery and utensils. There is a selection of books, magazines and games and suggestions for things to do and see during your stay.

Surfers are spoiled for choice in North Devon. Braunton village is 1 mile away, where you can enjoy restaurants, cafes and local shopping. Walking highlights include Baggy Point at Croyde, Saunton Beach and Braunton Burrows dunes. Saunton Sands is just 2 miles away and a great beach to have a go at surfing. With the endless stretch of beach, there is plenty of room to enjoy the surf or take in the expansive scene—an ideal base for cycling The Tarka Trail.

Please note: Our guests like the lodges for their relaxing and peaceful atmosphere; these rules help us maintain this because it’s a quiet place it’s not an ideal place to entertain visitors.

Occupancy Max 2 adults. Sorry, no children or babies. No pets.

No Parties. Max 2 visitors at any time, and they cannot stay on the property after 10 pm.
