What are Agency-Managed Holiday Cottages?
Agency Cottages in the UK are holiday cottages where the owner has contacted an independent business to manage their bookings. You contract with the company when booking the cottage. Some holiday cottage agencies look after marketing and bookings, while others cover all cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance chores. They tend to work on a commission basis, where the owner pays them a percentage of the rental fee. Some may charge guests an additional booking fee.
