Crews Hill House
Large Rural Holiday Cottage with a Hot Tub in Worcestershire. Sleeps 8.
Crews Hill House is a large, four-bedroom Tudor cottage with a Victorian extension situated on the outskirts of Alfrick in Worcestershire. Located seven miles from Malvern, a spa town at the foot of the Malvern Hills, this Worcestershire holiday cottage is ideal for those looking to explore the area. Set within eight acres of land in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Crews Hill House blends contemporary details with original features, providing a welcoming retreat for a group or family of eight.
Upon arrival, guests can park in one of the many off-road parking spaces and immediately enjoy the property’s superb views. The well-equipped kitchen/diner is perfect for culinary enthusiasts, featuring an oven, hob, fridge, and dishwasher for an easy clean-up. Guests can dine in the living/dining room with a table that seats eight to ten people or enjoy afternoon tea in the snug, which offers beautiful views of the Malvern Hills.
The farmhouse offers multiple relaxation spaces. The sitting room features a wood-burning stove, ideal for cosy evenings with a favourite book. Alternatively, guests can relax in the snug, which has an electric fire and a TV for watching their favourite series. For quieter moments, another snug provides a peaceful reading environment.
Upstairs, four well-appointed bedrooms await: two doubles, one super king (which can be arranged as two singles on request), and a twin room. Each bedroom offers ample storage for personal belongings. Guests can choose between a leisurely bath soak or a refreshing shower before heading out for the day.
The property’s picturesque surroundings, including The Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve and Crews Hill Wood Nature Reserve, provide excellent walking opportunities right from the doorstep. The property’s fields also give access to the Worcestershire Way, a 31-mile trail from Bewdley to Great Malvern. The Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offer breathtaking views and picnic spots with vistas across the Severn Valley and west to Herefordshire.
For dining out, The Fox & Hounds at Lulsley, winner of Worcestershire Pub of the Year, is nearby and offers tasty meals and local ales. Alfric also has a community shop with a Post Office for convenience.
Worcester, accessible for a taste of city life, offers attractions for history enthusiasts, including its Norman cathedral, Greyfriars House, and several museums showcasing the city’s rich heritage. Nearby Ledbury and Hereford, home to an impressive cathedral and the Hereford Cider Museum, provide additional options for exploration. The Three Counties Showground in Malvern hosts numerous events throughout the year, catering to diverse interests, including the RHS Malvern Spring Festival.
