Harvey's Mill, a unique roundhouse, is a living testament to the 17th-century Suffolk Post Windmill. It is nestled in the quaint village of Kelsale near the historic market town of Saxmundham. This rural retreat for couples features open-plan living areas and a spacious mezzanine bedroom, offering picturesque views of the surrounding open fields. The building has been lovingly renovated while retaining many visible original features, including the bare brick buttresses that would have supported the original windmill and smock. Included in the price, guests receive a welcome pack that includes complimentary wine, homemade bread, homemade jam, homemade chocolate biscuit cake, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit, fresh milk, orange juice, and real coffee. Rest assured, this charming Kelsale holiday cottage is centrally heated, ensuring a cosy stay throughout the year. Whether planning a summer getaway or a winter retreat, Harvey's Mill is open all year round, including Christmas and New Year breaks. A generous entrance hall, open-plan living area and large bathroom are on the ground floor. The Mill has its own enclosed garden suitable for pets and al fresco dining. The area offers a plethora of activities for those seeking adventure or a taste of local culture. Explore the Sutton Hoo Saxon burial grounds, visit the RSPB at Minsmere (as seen on Springwatch 2014-16), or discover the charm of Southwold, Aldeburgh, and Snape Maltings. Nature lovers can enjoy the Birds of Prey Centre, Suffolk Punch Horses, Dunwich Heath, and Rendlesham Forest. And for history buffs, there's Framlingham Castle, Orford Ness and Castle, and many more coastal towns to explore.
