The Ferry Cottage, Perthshire
A truly fantastic waterside cottage near Aberfeldy and the only one on the banks of the picturesque River Tay. The pet-friendly holiday cottage is a traditional stone building (formerly the ferry house for the river crossing) that benefits from double glazing, full central heating, an open fire in the lounge, and a log-burning stove in the dining room. Ideal for that romantic getaway and those seeking peace, solitude, or adventure. Three miles from the highland town of Aberfeldy and 2 miles to the quaint village of Strathtay.
The rooms recently refurbished have solid oak flooring, two bedrooms with king-size sleigh beds, and luxury orthopaedic mattresses for a fantastic sleep. The bedrooms also have blackout blinds.
We aim to give you a uniquely memorable experience in the heart of Perthshire's big tree country. Outdoor seating and BBQ, a great wood-burning outdoor sauna and a covered hot tub outside overlooking the tranquil River Tay. We have free, fast 4g Wi-Fi and provide toiletries, Egyptian bed linen, towels, games and DVDs. The dining table converts into a pool table. Relax with a glass of wine as you watch the sunset. Outside is a secure 4-acre garden for the dogs to explore—half a mile of trout fishing beat which is complimentary. Salmon permits are available at extra cost.

We adore this cottage,we have stayed 4 times now and keep returning it's all about location location location,on the banks of the river Tay,surrounded by large gardens with wild life on your doorstep ,
The cottage is beautiful with a hot tub and sauna, the owners have thought about every thing from the white fluffy bath robes to the towels and a stocked cupboard full of tea coffee and condiments ,if you want peace and quiet whilst sat in the hot tub having a drink then I would highly recommend
