Ty Coch at Plas Drygarn Cottages

Ty Coch is a single-storey holiday cottage near Crymych  - newly converted from a grain barn on our family smallholding at Plas Drygarn. 

It is the first property you’ll see on arrival as you come along our lane. This farm cottage sleeps seven + our travel cot. We have added an upstairs dorma bedroom which is now the master KING BEDROOM with its own shower room next door. On the higher end of the ground floor, here is a DOUBLE BEDROOM next to the main family-sized bathroom with a bath & separate shower cubicle, toilet & vanity sink unit. A TRIPLE SINGLE BEDROOM is located at the far end of the hall, making it ideal for children or single adults. All bedrooms are fully furnished & carpeted, as are the stairs, therefore, pets are not allowed in these rooms.

The ground floor boasts a large family kitchen, dining room & lounge in a light & airy open plan space with double doors leading out to the new conservatory & then the patio area.

The lounge has three Italian leather sofas & an extra chair. The high ceiling shows off beams & rustic chandeliers.

There are just four slate steps with a handrail from the higher level bedrooms & main bathroom to the open plan living areas.

A traditional oak kitchen with all modern appliances & pantry/larder looks out onto the enclosed garden & beyond. The dining area has a huge oak farmhouse table which can seat 6-8. Smart TV, and CD/Radio plus oak cabinet with games, puzzles, toys. The flooring downstairs is slate tiled throughout so that your pets may enjoy the living areas with you & the family.

There is a utility room & extra downstairs toilet just inside the back door from the garden; this houses the washing machine & tumble dryer & ideal for drying & feeding dogs. The under stair cupboard is full of baby & child equipment for use during your stay. 

An enclosed garden is accessible via the back door of the cottage & has a lawn area BBQ patio area with rustic dining furniture. The washing line & recycling/storage shed are at the top end of the garden, out of the way.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a weekly fee of £20 each. Normal dog rules apply & they aren't allowed on soft furnishings or in carpeted areas such as bedrooms; we provide stair gates to facilitate this.

There is parking for two cars on the brick patio drive which has open grassy areas on each side of it. This is the area you will see first on arrival.

Our nearest small town of Crymych is just along the public footpath or you can drive back up the road in less than 10 minutes. We have far more amenities than you'd expect for such a rural location & we are centrally based for days out in the 3 Counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion.

I will offer a discount of £100 when two consecutive weeks are booked during the summer & festive holidays.

The two cottages can be booked together for larger gatherings as they both have SATURDAY changeover day.
