Bay View, Bamburgh

Fabulous apartment. Excellent facilities, very spacious. Able to reverse car upto back door for easy, level un-loading. Nice hallway downstairs to keep muddy shoes out of the way!

The space within the flat gave the 5 of us (especially our 3 yr old and 2 yr old)the opportunity to spread out when indoors. We all enjoyed the view of the sea and the information pack was invaluable.

The apartment is decorated & furnished to the highest standard, great thought has gone in what is provided.

Coastal location, good weather, comfortable furniture in a spacious apartment, and the Wyndings restaurant at the Lord Crewe Hotel. Waren Hill Hotel also good, and walkable.

Great base for exploring Northumberland

A lovely property, very comfortable, stunning views across the bay and good car parking. Shops close by and plenty to see and do in the area.

Luxury does not begin to describe the place !! Very highly recommended.

Easy walk to Warren Hotel for nice meal. Walk to Barnburgh Castle along beach is stunning.

Everything was first class.

The flat was better than "excellent". Everything about it was of a very high standard and it certainly had the "wow" factor which made our holiday all the more memorable for all the right reasons.

The location of the property was superb. It was truly relaxing.

This is our third Sykes Cottages holiday and by far was the best, wonderful setting for bird watching.

The location was first class and the property lived up to expectations. It made an ideal base to see the area and the view of Lindisfarne from the front room was something else.

I have two young children and this property was ideal with lots of space to run around inside and out. The appartment was equipped with everything you could ever need, just a shame we didn't know about that before we packed the car! Would definitely stay again if we were back in Bamburgh.

We all love the area of countryside around the property. There is lots to see and do within a reasonable distance from the apartment. The disabled access to the property is good, if required.

We loved the apartment, and loved being so close to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and the Holy Islands.

A well equipped apartment in a beautiful location provided all that we needed. It was quiet, had a nice outlook over Budle Bay, and had all that we needed to relax. It was also within easy distance of so many parts of Northumberland that are worth a visit by any holiday maker.

This was the most well equipped property we have stayed in it was a real home from home. Gorgeous views perfect location for main attractions and a wildlife haven in the back yard. Memorable first time visit to the Northumberland Coast and this property added to the joy. A very welcome 'welcome' basket of essentials and non essentials and lots of well thought out personal touches. Fantastic family break in such a beautiful part of the world that is yet unspoilt by tourist traps.

The apartment is fantastic. The decor is contemporary and just to our taste. The layout is perfect for our family (with 4 children, ranging from 1 to 10 years old) as they can all be occupied but within the sights of mum and dad. We hope to be returning many times as the area is so lovely and the apartment is so comfortable. Thank you.

Superb location. The welcome hamper was a very nice gesture. Everything in the apartment had been considered - lots of books, games, detailed local information about tourist visits and restaurants etc.

This was our 2nd year at Bay View and it lived up to the first year. The building itself is lovely, it is a spacious property with room for everyone! The property is clean and well equipped. The welcome basket is a great gesture and much appreciated.

Excellent accommodation with everything you need and more. An unexpected, lovely welcome pack greeted us on arrival at this spotless and beautiful apartment. A lovely walk around the bay enticed us from the front door, with many more a short drive away. If you like castles, there are plenty in the area and lots of golden sandy beaches. If you like bird-watching, you'll love the area.

Had a really good break from routine! The property and everything about it was really good and its location, for us as birdwatchers was perfect. It was a really relaxing and quiet place to stay, well thought out and spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the place was warm.
