Stable Cottage, Norfolk

Lovely Cottage, very clean and very nicely decorated.

The cottage was in beautiful grounds and a good location with plenty to see. It was spotless and clean and the owner was very welcoming. We had amazing weather and a great week away, just what we needed.

Excellent cottage in good surroundings. Probably the best holiday cottage that I've stayed at in the UK. Equipped and furnished to a very standard.
Spacious fully equipped kitchen with range style cooker and large american style fridge freezer.
Well placed in central norfolk so easy to get around to all the sites.
Only gripe if staying longer would have been the lack of a shower as there is only a (very nice) old fashioned bath and sink.

This is one of the most highly refurbished cottages we have stayed in. We regularly travel with our dogs and therefore, have not always had such a lovely property! Its so refreshing look forward to getting home to enjoy the lovely open plan kitchen and eat and drink together!

This was a super base to see the local area too with supermarkets a short car drive away to stock up!

Based on a small holding, there are horses and chickens to see and its all on the flat therefore lovely for my disabled mother to look around too! You can even buy eggs from the owner to have for breakfast. You wont get fresher!!

We would definately consider it for a summer break and would enjoy relaxing at the cottage as well as popping out!

We were very much impressed by the warm welcome received, and the freshly laid eggs left in the traditional country cottage kitchen were a nice touch!

The beautifully landscaped gardens, with trampoline and friendly family dog make you feel like it's a home from home.

Our 3 year old loved the setting, and often asks to go back! We have promised her that we will as we all enjoyed the beautifully decorated Cottage and our stay so much.

If we could swap our life in the city for the perfect country get-a-way, we would pick this beautifully finished cottage...

The location was great for accessing all parts of Norfolk. The property was immaculate, the owners lovely and the facilities good.A tumble drier would have made it totally complete. The only comment would be that the third bedroom is really only suitable for very young small children.

This cottage is a converted stable but has a lot of mod-cons while keeping that old country cottage feel. It was hard to find as it really is in the middle of nowhere(used sat nav but still had trouble) We had 3 generations staying (ages 8-70) The kitchen/living room is very open and quite large. The eaves bedroom is perfect for young kids. The stairs are a little steep. The cottage is surrounded by farmland and fields with horses and chickens. There were fresh eggs and produce available for purchase everyday (reasonably priced too).
When we arrived, the owners had provided milk, tea and cookies, which was a nice touch. There was also leaflets and maps for days out. The cottage is about 40 mins from a lot of Norfolk attractions.
Things I didn't like - there was no phone (travelling from abroad, we didn't have cell phones) or WiFi. It was also very hot so a fan would have been nice. And there were not many plugs near a mirror.
My family were impressed with the cottage and have already recommended it to others.

What a fabulous place! A fantastic place to get away from it all and wonderful for families. The kids loved collecting eggs and meeting the horses. The owners could not have been more helpful.The cottage is beautiful and furnished to a high standard. The photos really don't do it justice. Dogs are welcome, which is an added bonus. 100% recommend and will definitely go again.

The lovely surroundings with plenty for the children to do. The private outside seating area with lots of space to eat outside. The house was a pleasure to be in.

The cottage is in a great location to explore the Norfolk area. The cottage is stunning and the interior is the best I have seen. The grounds are also lovely and if it were closer to my home, would bring along my horse too!

The property was lovely. It oozes a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere on entering.

We were made to feel very welcome, and certainly like it was a home from home. It was by far the best family holiday we have had. Our daughter is 3 1/2 and she was perfectly happy running through the grounds, bouncing on the trampoline, playing with the dog and petting the horse. I would very highly recommend this cottage, the photos do not do it justice! Thank you!

A beautiful cottage that had everything you could possibly think of needing. The owners were extremely helpful and always at hand for any queries. Certainly a 'home from home' experience.

The weather was first class. We were made very welcome by the owner and enjoyed our stay.

A property with lovely character in a peaceful location, very spacious, clean and well presented. A nice outdoor space with private secure patio garden. Very good base to explore the whole of Norfolk from - a central location with good road links in all directions. Very peaceful and no disturbance from other properties.

The property is in a very peaceful location and although The Stables is connected to the owners property which is occupied, we felt able to relax and were not unduly disturbed.

The cottage was very comfortable, clean and homely - just as we expected and hoped for.

We loved everything about this cottage, the inside was brilliant very well set out which made it very relaxing. The grounds were massive which our little boy loved to run around and see all the animals.

My eight year old loved the kids bedroom and there was a window that he could open and look down into where we were sitting.

We had comfort and a very relaxing time. No problems at all with the booking and the cottage was excellent. We would stay there again.

This property is very well appointed. It was the best property we have stayed in that has everything you could possibly need. The decor and furnishings are very well chosen.

Very impressed with the Cottage. We had a very comfortable relaxing stay, the Cottage was fitted to a very good standard indeed. The location was really good too.

This was an ideal location for our party and ourselves. The hosts were so accommodating; it was thoroughly idyllic to us.

The cottage itself was wonderful. We were there at the beginning of December and it was very warm and cosy. The kitchen/sitting area was large but so were the radiators, and the wood burning stove could be lit if you wanted to stay up very late or just because it looked so pretty. The kitchen was a joy to use, the table was well sized and there were plenty of pots/pans/cutlery so that we could make full use of the dishwasher. The main bedroom on the ground floor is large and the double bed very comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are gorgeous and are set in the eaves. Indeed, the cottage was so well provided with everything you could need to stay there, so certainly don't think of packing the kitchen sink. The owners have got it just right. They are very pleasant and would have sorted problems if we'd had any, but they really let us feel that the cottage was our 'home' for the time we were there.
