Lavender Cottage, Caernarfon

Great cottage in quiet location but central to tremendous range of places to visit and things to do. Wonderful week with super weather and fantastic beaches. Couldn't have been better.

Ideally situated near Caernarfon and cottage very comfortable; home from home! No complaints. Very happy with accommodation.

Nice cottage in a quiet place. Lounge with plenty of space. The whole property is nicely decorated and the surroundings are quite nicely done. Plenty to see around.

The property was roomy and it was located on a lovely green field site with some really attractive attention to details. Plenty of parking and well located to the beaches and town centre. The owner was friendly and ensured we were up to speed with everything.

Liked the peace and quiet of surroundings and the high standard of property.

What a beautiful cottage inside and out, and it was always warm and cosy. In a good location as we came to walk Snowdon, we will be back next summer.

This is a lovely cottage and was larger than expected. The location is perfect. It felt secluded as surrounded by farmland, but is actually very close to Caernarfon and is an ideal base for exploring North Wales.

The owner is very friendly and will give you lots of ideas of places to visit and things to do. There are several leaflets provided to help you select activities during your stay.

Despite the description it is not practical to walk to the nearest pub-- main road no footpath. The pub doesnt do food anyway. However not far to drive to a reasonable choice. Property ok for 2 adults-no more. Might be ok for family with 2 children but sofa beds in living room make different bedtimes difficult to accomodate. Very nicely converted barn and surrounding grounds but very difficult to cook-in due to non matching cooker grill pan etc .In fact rather hazardous!

really convenient for getting to nearby towns, but very pretty and quiet location. the proprietor was very helpful especially as we turned up so late, and we loved our stay.

Have just returned from a week in Lavender Cottage - what a beautiful place to stay. The cottage is a real find - a quiet location and yet easily accessible to all the wonderful sights in the area. The cottage itself is furnished to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable and cosy. We were met by the owner who was delightful and made us feel very welcome. The owner had also included very thoughtful touches such as a welcome tea tray which went down a treat after a long journey. Rarely have we stayed in accommodation that is such a good standard - highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again either in the summer or for a winter break.

The cottages are well maintained and beautifully done throughout. The pictures do not do them justice as they are actually a lot bigger than the pictures appear. A lovely welcome with fresh cream tea and milk in the fridge!

We had a great holiday, weather so so cottage comfortable and welcoming, warm good facilities friendly helpful owner. Would highly recommend and certainly use again, so much to see and do.

Our stay was just as we hoped it would be. Beautiful accomadation and very friendly owners and as they are your immediate neighbours this was important. Lots of fab places in the area to visit. As Caernarfon was only one and half miles from the cottage it was a slight disappointment that we could not walk to it, indeed really no where was excessable without first having to drive. Road out side the site of the cottages was a very busy one indeed and would have been very dangerous to tried to have walked anywhere.

Once found, the apartment is well laid out and has good facilities. Its location is excelleant for exploring noerthern Wales.
The owners are helpful and welcominmg, and very informative about local attractions, as well as on site laundry facilities etc.

We loved the quiet rural setting of Lavender Cottage and its location was perfect for exploring the North Wales coast including Anglesey and also Snowdonia. We loved Lavender Cottage itself and it was a pleasure spending time there. We particularly enjoyed going for coastal walks around Anglesey, taking boat trips from Caernarfon along the Menai Strait and around Puffin Island from the lovely town of Beaumaris. Climbing Mount Snowdon was a highlight with some stunningly scenic views along the way.

This cottage far exceeded our expectations. They will win awards! Fantastic design and finish - lovely welcome. Games room was a real bonus.

The cottage is located in the center of the famous places to be visited, it's quiet, clean and comfortable.

Everything about this holiday surpassed our expectations. The high standards that have been achieved in every area from cleanliness of the cottages to their location made this an ideal choice. We will most certainly be recommending this holiday location to friends and family and look forward to returning ourselves in the future. A superb cottage in a fantastic location for all the attractions in North West Wales. The cottage, play room, boot room and surroundings were immaculate. A great cottage for the three of us. Everything in the cottage had been well thought of with books. cards, dominoes etc. Little extras that you don't expect.

The owner was very welcoming when we arrived and arriving back to a nice open plan living area with lovely shower was a real joy. The photographs on the website do not do the property justice as it is actually quite large which the pictures don't really capture.
