Cherry tree is a fabulous cottage. Ideal location, walking distance of beach, shops ,restaurants and theatre. Set in beautiful gardens and friendly helpful hosts. The cottage is spotless and of a very high standard. As far as we’re concerned the only place to stay if visiting Sidmouth.

Cherry Tree cottage was immaculate and very well equipped and we received a lovely welcome from Selwyn and Geoff. With regard to Covid19 safety, every care had been taken to make us feel protected and comfortable. Ideal location with the beach and town centre just a 5 min walk away.

Great central location. Beach and town 5 minutes away. Plenty of good restaurants in close proximity with numerous places to visit. Local shops very interesting. Sidmouth Golf Course a few mins. away. Selwyn and Geoff take great care of their beautiful garden and fish! The cottage is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a holiday. We will return Selwyn and Geoff!

If in Devon I would not consider going anywhere else, long may Selwyn keep going.

We missed it this visit but the walk from Seaton to Beer is stunning and plenty of places to eat when you get their.

If I were asked to describe Littlecourt as a self-catering holiday destination in one word that word would be "perfection". My wife and I have been staying in Sidmouth's best hotels for over 20 years, but not anymore. One week in Cherry Tree Cottage has converted us permanently. The cottage is beautifully furnished, very spacious, immaculately clean and equipped to a very high standard. Added to this, Selwyn and Geoffrey live on site, are very helpful and friendly and work tirelessly to ensure the standards are maintained. Their 4 star and gold awards are well justified. We have already booked up for next year and are really looking forward to our return. Thank you Selwyn and Geoffrey for giving us an entirely new perspective on holidays.

Cherry Tree Cottage is 5 star all the way. Spacious, meticulously maintained, fitted with all the modern equipment and utensils you would ever need. The hosts are very humble and make you feel very welcome , offering advice on things to see and do and providing every assistance they can to make your stay as comfortable and rewarding as possible.
The cottage, which has off-street parking. Is only an easy 5min stroll, to the beach, restaurants and shops, making it an ideal location to base yourself. Sidmouth is a lovely seaside town with everything you need to make your holiday a wonderful one. We very much hope to have the opportunity to stay in this wonderful cottage again.

Cherry Tree Cottage is just simply gorgeous. Exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean and is very spacious. Selwyn and Geoffrey, the owners always have time to stop and chat to offer advice on the surrounding areas, nothing is too much trouble. The cottages are nestled amongst their beautifully tendered gardens - it has been an absolute joy to stay here.

We have stayed in all five cottages sometimes twice a year since they opened.
Cherry Tree Cottage is superbly furnished with no expense spared. Every year we visit, further refurbishment has taken place. This particular cottage is ideal for us as it is on one level.
All five cottages are so well appointed that they make one feel immediately relaxed.
The quality of the furniture and fittings is second to none. Similar comments apply to the gardens in that they are a delight, resulting from careful planning and constant attention

This was our second stay in 'Cherry Tree Cottage' - really comfortable accommomodation. Very well equipped with everything you need and was spotless. Selwyn and Geoffrey are always on hand if needed. The gardens are lovely and we had excellent weather this year so could really appreciate them. The cottage is situated in the heart of Sidmouth and really close to beach, shops and all amenities, yet it feels as though you are 'away from it all'. Cannot recommend this property highly enough

The cottage is beautifully equipped, everything is spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage's comfort and general maintenance and layout. the overall standard is excellent - as is the welcome on arrival.

The area has many facilities and attractions and if you would like to give up driving and park your car during your stay there is an excellent bus service to many tourist venues.

Having returned to Sidmouth year on year staying at what we thought was the best hotels, B&B's or Holiday Cottages for over 30 years - we have found "a gem" tucked away in one of the loveliest and most convenient positions in Sidmouth. Selwyn & Geoffrey have been excellent hosts, very informative and accessible. The quality and facilities within 'Cherry Tree' are second to none and thought to detail and comfort not compromised in any way whatsoever. We wish we could stay longer but alas not!, but we will be returning to Littlecourt time & time again - I'm sure. Thank you!

We have stayed at Littlecourt Cottages many times and Cherry Tree Cottage is a favourite. It is a well maintained and spotlessly clean cottage sleeping 2. The location is perfect and is within a short walk from the seafront and the town. The extra measures put in place for the pandemic were much appreciated.

Such a cosy cottage, so delightful & warm to come back to after our days walking. We've made the most of the great bus service (5 minutes walk from here) and caught the bus to Seaton, The Donkey Sanctuary and Budleigh Salterton & walked back along the coast. The weather although cold has been lovely & sunny & the scenery is fantastic. We've had a great week - thanks.

Very comfortable for two people. Very spacious lounge with views of the garden. Very comfortably furnished and everything you could want in the kitchen. The hosts, Selwyn and Geoff, are always on hand and ready to help. Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely extra touch. We have already booked a return

We highly recommend Littlecourt Cottages. We stayed in Cherry Tree March 30 - April 6 2012, and were very sad to have to leave at the end of our week. We didn't have a car upon arrival and, intended to rent one, but there was no need - everything was within a few minutes walk and yet the property was a peaceful haven tucked away in a beautiful garden. The cottage was perfect in every way and a delight to return to after a busy day's outing. Our sincerest thanks go to Selwyn and Geoff for making our trip to Sidmouth such a memorable one.

Cherry Tree is a very pretty and spacious Cottage set in award-winning gardens, and only a stones throw away from beautiful Sidmouth Town Centre and it’s lovely Esplanade. It is furnished and decorated with meticulous attention to detail and has everything you would want or need for a truly relaxing holiday. A lot of very hard work, talent, and affection for all of Littlecourt’s Cottages - we have also stayed in Hemphaye and Courthaye - guarantee the very highest standards consistently met by Selwyn and Geoff, both charming hosts who are always on hand if required. My husband and I look forward to our 5th visit!

We've had many holidays in Sidmouth where we stayed with family. However, with a young boy in tow, we decided to stay at Cherry Tree cottage and we enjoyed our first family holiday together. Our 20month old had a great quality high chair and the cot provided wasn't the usual small travel cot but a normal full size one which was great as my son is tall! Comfortable furniture and opulent decor, it was a luxurious cottage with an amazing shower! Thanks!

We have stayed in this cottage on numerous occasions and like it because it is on one level. The cottage is kept to an impeccable standard by continual improvement . No expense has been spared

Sunday lunch at the Victoria hotel is a special treat. The donkey sanctuary is a lovely day out free parking a reasonably priced restaurant The walk around the fields is so calming and peaceful

Our third visit to Cherry Tree Cottage, this surely must say it all!! For just 2 adults this property is extremely spacious, comfortable and fitted to the highest of standards. The owners are so helpful and friendly, they certainly deserve their high rating. The gardens are superb, tended with loving care. The location is perfect and Sidmouth is an absolute delight, everything you could ever need on the doorstep!!

Having stayed st Cherry Tree several times, each experience always betters itself. Cannot fault the location, accommodation or service received. Extremely comfortable, cosy and always made to feel welcome. Having had the experience of staying this year in an alternative self catering to Littlecourt, other owners of properties would do well to take a lesson from Selwyn and Geoffrey on how to get it right at looking after their guests and their needs. Littlecourt Cottages is set in lovely gardens and despite being five minutes walk from the beach and centre of Sidmouth is so quiet and peaceful. Cherry Tree is a favourite cottage sleeping two. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We have already booked for next year.

Immaculately presented, beautifully equipped, centrally located, convenient for public transport to Exeter and further up the coast, set in lovely gardens. Wonderful hosts and staff.

Cherry Tree cottage surpassed our expectations, and we have already booked for a week next year. We are from the U.S. and prefer this type of self-catering, particularly when there is a Waitrose nearby. It rained most of the week, but the cottage is so nice, we did not mind being housebound and looking at the pretty garden.

An excellent holiday cottage in all ways - clean, very comfortable and well equipped. A friendly welcome - truly home from home. Close to sea front and all local amenities including cinema and theatre. We will be back next year.

This our 4th visit and although we chose October, we enjoyed wonderful weather, and still discovered new walks stretching along The Jurassic Coastline Several choices of cottages to chose from, surrounded by fabulous award winning gardens, manicured personally by the owners, a real pleasure to return whichever month you chose. Sidmouth itself offers one the opportunity of enjoying a coastal resort which still maintains its Victorian charm, but also offers a wide choice of excellent restaurants, bistros,and bars, coupled with a wide variety of shops to visit. Difficult to fault any of the accommodation on offer, just like home from home, Really !!! But, do book early, to avoid disappointment, maybe consider 2018 as probably 2017 is already near to full. Owners also offer short breaks subject to availability.

Delightful very high standard accommodation. Very friendly and thoughtful owners who made our stay pure pleasure. The siting is ideal in that is very quiet and secluded but easy short walk to the seafront or the friendly local shops. The Connaught gardens are within our easy walking distance as well. Spacious well-equipped lounge, great tv and very comfortable beds.a good shower and a well equipped kitchen. We have booked for another stay next year !

Our second stay in Cherry Tree for a lovely winter break. The owners Selwyn and Geoff are always very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Christmas decorations are a very nice touch. Only a few minutes from the seafront and town with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Having a parking space is very useful.

Conveniently located for all the attractions of Sidmouth. Excellent position for all East Devon attractions and Exeter itself.

This was my second stay in Cherry Tree in two years, and I have already booked for 2020. Selwyn is attentive to all details, and Sidmouth is a relaxed and pretty seaside town. I am an American, and it is nice not to be overrun with the typical U.S. tourists. I particularly enjoy the nice restaurants along the esplanade.

Cherry Tree is an immaculate cottage suitable for 2 people. It is in an ideal location being only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the town and seafront. It is an oasis of peace and quiet.

We cannot recommend Cherry Tree cottage enough. It is beautifully furnished, immaculate and fully equipped. The location is perfect, close to the beach, the theatre and the shops. All within a few minutes walking distance, yet the cottage is a peaceful haven in beautifully kept gardens. Congratulations to Selwyn and Geoff our hosts on maintaining such a high standard. Perfect is the only way to describe this property. Beautifully furnished, 5 minute walk from sea and two mins from theatre. an ideal location and in wonderful gardens. The hosts Selwyn & Geoff cannot do enough for you, and the cleanliness cannot be surpassed. Staying here you feel totally safe from Covid thanks to their hard work. This property is one of five cottages of different sizes but all reach the same very high standard., We have visited before and will definitely visit again. Littlecourt Cottages cannot be bettered.. Sidmouth is just the most lovely place for a seaside holiday, a beautiful Regency town. We have returned to Cherry Tree Cottage for several years now; we find it impossible not to return. The cottage is very spacious and exceptionally clean and has everything you could ever need for a relaxing holiday. It’s location to the town and seafront is superb. Selwyn and Geoffrey are fantastic hosts, friendly and full of information about the local areas which they are happy to share. They truly fully deserve their many awards! Otter Garden Centre well worth a visit with a selection of plants, flowers, vegetables, fruit, restaurant, tools, parking etc. Highly recommended for all gardening enthusiasts who wish to have an enjoyable day

We have just returned from our most recent visit to Sidmouth, our first at Littlecourt's Cherry Tree Cottage. . What a perfect place to stay. I can't understand why we didn't discover this little gem years ago, and have usually stayed in B & B's but this has broken our habit. So many holiday rentals lack things you take for granted at home - cool cotton bedding, knives that actually cut things, good sized wine glasses! Sorry about the cliche but this is truly 'a home from home', only minutes from the town centre, a welcoming and comfortable base to which to return after a day enjoying all Folk Week has to offer. See you next year, Selwyn and Geoff.

Perfect location, so close to the seafront and lovely Regency town of Sidmouth where you can buy everything you will need while self catering in glorious Cherry Tree Cottage, part of Littlecourt Cottages. The fact that we have been returning here for many years now says it all! The owners Selwyn and Geoff maintain the properties to the highest standards constantly renewing carpets and furniture etc to uphold their very high standards. Cleanliness is always a high priority at Littlecourt and especially this year which has been difficult for us all. We felt safe and relaxed with the current measures taken. The added bonus of the beautifully maintained gardens for relaxing in the sun and relaxing.

5 star experience at this quaint ground floor apartment set in beautiful secluded gardens just of Sidmouth's main shopping streets and Esplanade. We were made so welcome and cared for exceptionally well by the owners. The apartment had everything we wanted and was immaculately clean. The onsite parking allocation worked great. No parking issues. Thank you Selwyn and Geoffrey. Can't recommend you highly enough.

A beautiful cottage with all mod cons, situated in easy walking distance of the delightful town and the pleasant sea front. Plenty of places for snacks and meals. Despite poor weather we really enjoyed our stay.

Walks along the coastline paths, stunning views. Boat trip from exmouth along the Jurassic coast is a good trip. Restaurants in the town had to be booked in advance.

There are many places to visit such as Budleigh Salterton, Honiton, Beer and Lyme Regis. The art galleries at Beer are a must for us and for anyone interested in antiques, the Antique Village near Cullompton is worth a visit.
