Tastefully decorated throughout, this North Devon holiday cottage is split over two levels. The cottage has a bright and spacious open-plan living area on the ground floor with a comfy lounge featuring two reclining sofas, a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area. Guests will find everything they need within the recently renovated kitchen for a self-catering holiday, including a fridge, an electric oven, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

On the first floor are two lovely double and twin bedrooms with plenty of storage facilities—a family bathroom with a bath and shower overhead, a WC and a wash basin.

To the front of the cottage is a terrace area with chairs for relaxing, and guests have access to the onsite communal facilities, which include two well-stocked fishing lakes (bring your rods and licence, please) and a children’s play area.

Lower Aylescott is ideally located for exploring North Devon, with the coast only a short drive away. Take a stroll along the South West Coast Path or ride a bike on the Tarka Trail to see some of the stunning scenery and local wildlife.

Several excellent attractions are within easy reach for children, including The Big Sheep, Combe Martin Wildlife, Dinosaur Park, and Exmoor Zoo. Alternatively, there is Arlington Court and RHS Rosemoor close by.

Blare Cottage sits on the edge of West Down, which has a handy village shop and pub. Other places to eat and shop can be found at Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Braunton.
