3-Bedroom Coast and Countryside Cottage With Indoor Pool

Thatchers is a delightful converted carriage barn sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms on the North Devon coast near Barnstaple. The ground floor has an open-plan living area looking out onto the garden, with a lounge/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower with a king-sized bed(5'). There is also a separate bathroom. Guests have access to an indoor heated swimming pool and two acres of gardens to picnic and play.

The holiday cottage is in a semi-rural location on the Taw Estuary, with easy access to North Devon's beautiful sandy beaches, moorland and tourist attractions. It is only a short walk from the nearby villages of Bickington and Fremington, with local pubs, shops and restaurants. Take the opportunity to walk or cycle along The Tarka Trail towards Barnstaple or Instow, a pretty estuary village with scenic views, sand dunes and a good choice of pubs/restaurants. Wander down to Fremington Quay and enjoy a delicious lunch or cream tea at the popular cafe housed in a replica station rebuilt on the site of the old station.
