Dating back to 1642, the large Slade House was once a former Yeoman's house but is now a Grade II listed holiday cottage for up to 8 people, ideal for family holidays, reunions and short breaks.

The property features a charming farmhouse kitchen with wood burning stove and large circular kitchen table - making it an ideal place for family meals. There is also a comfortable sitting room with views out to the open countryside and Thorpe Cloud hill.

Upstairs on the first floor are two double bedrooms. The first room has a king sized four poster bed and the other has a full king sized bed. Each room comes with its own ensuite bathroom. On the second floor are two additional twin bedded rooms with a further bathroom.

Outside is an attractive private garden with garden furniture and there is the opportunity for a variety of beautiful walks directly from the cottages. There is also a basic games room with a table tennis table and a secure area for storing bicycles. The whole of Slade Farm is nestled in glorious farmland surrounded by exceptional views of the Derbyshire and Staffordshire countryside.
