Kirkbridge Hall is set within the walled orchards of Melmerby Hall, a stone-clad terraced cottage surrounded by 20 acres of woodland in Melmerby, Cumbria. The pet-friendly cottage offers lovely enclosed grounds, fresh air, solid oak floors, antique furniture, and a log fire.

The vast grounds include a mix of woodland, a walled orchard and an enclosed space for the pets to enjoy. Lawned areas lead to the furnished patio where guests can wine and dine while admiring the views of St John’s Church and the countryside.

The newly completed terrace offers a high standard of furnishing throughout, including sandstone walls and solid oak floors. The modern, well-equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar and leads to the dining room with antique furniture, and the cosy sitting room is elegantly designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing by the log fire in the sandstone fireplace.

The immaculate presentation continues in the bedrooms, which include two rooms with king-size zip-and-link beds, one of which features an en-suite, plus a king-size room and a master room with a king-size antique four-poster bed and an en-suite with natural limestone tiled walk-in shower. The family bathroom has a cast iron bath and a separate free-standing shower; all bathrooms offer heated chrome towel rails.

Guests at Krikbridge Hall are blessed with peace, quiet, and sophistication. They are provided with WiFi, amenities for young children, parking, underfloor heating, and laundry facilities, as well as a 42 ′ TV, DVD player, and iPod docking system. Guests also enjoy a free swimming session at the nearby Greystoke village pool.

Kirkbridge Hall is next to the listed St John’s Church in Melmerby and within easy reach of attractions such as the Eden Valley and Pennine Fells, Hartside Pass, the Lake District, Ullswater, and Penrith.
