A three-storey countryside cottage within walking distance of the county’s third-largest town, 5 The Granary boasts a well-equipped kitchen that adjoins the sitting room with a dining area. Walk through the French doors onto a furnished patio perfect for al fresco meals or an evening glass of wine overlooking the enclosed garden surrounding the cottage with traditional dry stone walls.

Two king-size double bedrooms and a family bathroom sit on the first floor, while the second floor contains a family room with king-size double and single and a second family bathroom, allowing guests to spread out and find their own space. An external utility room includes a washer and dryer.

The town of Kendal boasts two castles, two museums, and several fine restaurants for a night out. The town is ideally situated for visits to Lake Windermere, just a 20-minute drive to the west, or Arnside Beach along the Kent estuary, offering gorgeous views of Morecambe Bay. Hikes through the Lake District and the Kentmere Valley also beckon guests to 5 The Granary.
