This large and luxurious waterside holiday cottage in Flushing can accommodate up to 9 people. The property has five bedrooms and is a period house that has undergone modernisation to give it a touch of coastal style while maximising the spectacular views. On the ground floor, you'll find a cosy living room with plenty of seating and a TV with a DVD player. The impressive hallway leads to a reading room with a huge picture window providing views of the boats travelling up and down the river. The dining room has a beautiful coastal feel with its light blue walls and patio doors that can be thrown open to let in the sights and sounds of the sea. For cooler evenings, this room has a wood-burning stove.

The modern kitchen has a granite-topped island, and the vaulted ceiling with Velux windows makes it a very light space. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a double oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, and large fridge with a separate freezer. A laundry cupboard is complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer. French doors lead onto the slate-paved patio, which gives you 180° views of the river, a perfect accompaniment to a relaxing group meal.

On the first floor, you'll find a huge master bedroom with an ensuite shower room and two picture windows providing unbeatable water views. There are also three other bedrooms: a double with water views, another double, and one with twin single beds. Each bedroom is individually styled to a high standard and furnished with items that perfectly complement the property's style.

The family bathroom on the first floor provides plenty of space and features a large bath with an overhead shower and a WC. The final bedroom is on the second floor and has a single bed and an additional daybed. This room also doubles as a great playroom for children, with bean bags, a TV, and a DVD player.

The cottage is ideally located to allow easy access to Falmouth by car or on the regular passenger ferry that travels from the nearby Quay. A network of ferries also travels from Falmouth to St Mawes and Truro, and there are plenty of water taxis, beautifully located pubs, scenic coastal paths, and wonderful subtropical gardens to explore.
