The Watch House in Falmouth

Located in the heart of Falmouth harbour, this newly renovated house is stunning! The Watch House is a boat-watchers haven that boasts breathtaking views across to Flushing and St Mawes. Staggeringly serene, it's an outstanding spot for simply relaxing and watching the constantly changing scenery of the harbour.

Sleeping up to 8 and with a glorious terrace and parking, it may be a struggle to choose between enjoying one of the town's many eateries or al fresco suppers on the upper floor terrace while enjoying the views.

The Watch House has an upside-down arrangement to make the best use of the views over the harbour. The entrance leads into the hall with a useful utility room and storage area, a family bathroom with WC, basin and bath with shower over. The bedroom on this level has full-sized twin single beds, which can be made up as a super-king double bed if required and water views.

The first floor of this impressive house has two further bedrooms, one very much the master bedroom with outstanding views of the water from the three windows, a built-in wardrobe and a king-sized double bed. This room also has an en-suite shower with a large walk-in shower, WC, basin and a heated towel rail.

The second bedroom also enjoys harbour views and has a built-in wardrobe with twin single beds, which can also be configured as a super-king double if preferred. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC, basin and walk-in shower.

Impeccable interior design and an immaculate palate of creams and greys with stripped wooden floors and comfortable sofas blend easily with the wicker trunks and church pew seating. The whole second floor is given over to the spectacular living space. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows, guests will feel they are perched over the whole of the harbour! A dining table and chairs are set at one end, with the seating firmly focused on those views! There is a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and complimentary WiFi, so if you need to keep in touch with the outside world (or book your favourite restaurant), you can.

The kitchen is fully equipped with impeccable style to boot. Corian worktops and a breakfast bar make this a pleasant place to prepare a meal, while all mod cons include a dishwasher, double oven with electric hob, and full-height fridge freezer.

On the top floor is a beautiful and flexible space – depending on the size of the party, this room can be used as a second living area benefitting from the fantastic decked terrace or, as the 2 sofas are both sofa-beds, this room can also be used an additional bedroom (for occasional use only, subject to approval). There is also a bathroom on this floor which has a further WC, basin and shower.

The house has 2 nearby parking spaces on the quay and 2 dogs are welcome - subject to age and breed.
