Ivywood Railway Carriage

The Railway Carriage has been on its present site for over one hundred years. It is situated in its own private garden with ample parking, a patio, and a wooded area leading into a three-acre field.

Wisbech St Mary has two public houses that serve food, a general store/post office, and a fish and chip shop. The main town of Wisbech has many fine buildings, such as its Georgian Crescent and North Brink. It is here that Peckover House ( National Trust ) is situated.

Wisbech is an ideal base for touring the area, with many places of interest close by, Peckover House and Gardens ( National Trust ), Octavia Hill Museum, and Elgoods Brewery and Gardens, open to the public. Peterborough has a fine Cathedral and Nene Valley Steam Railway. King's Lynn is rivalled by Ely, one of the country's smallest cities, with an equally magnificent cathedral. Cambridge has its historical colleges, botanical gardens, and punting on the river Cam, and Stamford has its 17th and 18th-century stone and older timber buildings and five medieval churches.

Visit the North Norfolk Coast, an area of outstanding beauty, including Heacham, 30 miles; Hunstanton, 31 miles; Well-Next-The-Sea, 44 miles; Cromer, 59 miles; and Sheringham, with its heritage steam railway, the "poppy Line", 56 miles.
