Glen Dessary
Glen Dessary resides on the well-kept grounds of the owner's smallholding near the small village of Corpach. It offers easygoing, open-plan accommodation over a single storey, making it a no-frills retreat that is ideal for all.
From inside, guests are greeted to an inviting living area with a corner sofa, an electric fireplace, a flat-screen TV, a generously sized dining table for four diners, and a spacious kitchen suite with all modern appliances.
Further into the chalet are the two bedrooms and bathroom. Both double and twin bedrooms are decorated to a high standard, with the bathroom boasting modern tiling and bath and shower facilities. Outside, guests are welcome to enjoy the shared lawned area with other holidaymakers or can journey further into the surrounding Highlands, with the chalet situated right amid the hills for walking, mountain biking and climbing, with even Ben Nevis within sight.
In the commutable distance is the Isle of Skye, either by car or steam train, for an opportunity to experience Scotland at its most rural and unspoilt. Nearby is the residential town of Fort William, offering many shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

We had a great, relaxing stay.
The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The chalet was comfortable with a good range of equipment. The only real complaint was a slight lack of storage space for luggage. Location was good as there were shops and restaurants within easy reach for everyday shopping and meals out in the evening.
All in all we had a very enjoyable week.

it was out of season but was treated well the cabin was clean and homely, the people were very friendly and helpful in any concerns will not hesitate to go back there again
brilliant
the location is awesome, at the foot of ben nevis. the gym membership is a welcome addition, especially if you climb the hill. remote, in a good way. Not for Dog or animal lovers tho. (I'm a fan of dogs!)
Really relaxing
Had a fantastic time plenty to do. The family that run the site were very friendly and helpful.The chalet was clean & comfortable with eveything you needed.
Great location and comfortable accomodation in family setting
Beautiful setting with chickens, ducks and geese to greet you and freshly laid eggs in the mornings were delightful. The owners of the property were extremily helpful and catered our medical needs, taking delivery and storing some medial equipment prior to our arrival. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the west highlands and the islands.

really friendly clean with every thing required within log cabin.central to all things off interest . With Fort william closs bye for eating out etc. Really enjoyed our time there.

Due to an unforseen event we weren't able to stay at Glen Dessary on our start date. Jennifer Campbell made every effort to find a replacement for us until we could move in. Whilst walking up Ben Nevis on the Saturday I even had a text message asking if we were OK? I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay in the area not too far away from First William itself but a nice setting.
Very quiet and peaceful.
The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and never more than 20 minutes (or less) to tourist attractions such as the Ben Nevis range, national park walks and town centre being Fort William.
We received a very warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful throughout our stay.
The location and area was superb, lots to do and see, did hill walking, fishing, exploring and enjoyed the Scottish hospitality. The property owners were excellent and weather was fantastic, would like to go back.
The area was nice, the owners were very helpful and on hand if needed, the atmosphere was friendly. It was quiet and we had plenty of freedom.
We enjoyed the animals and birds in the gardens and surrounding areas.
Scotland at its very best - right outside the door. I only booked for a week, I should have stayed at least two weeks longer.

The Chalet was excellent, far better than we expected for the price and it had everything we needed. The location was also perfect, quiet enough to relax but close enough to Fort William to do your shopping or go for a meal.
