Ty Ceirios is a rural self-catering paradise thoughtfully designed to offer a serene escape. This beautiful Welsh eco-lodge in Carno, a small village in Powys, is one of three exclusively crafted for Dŵr Y Felin by master craftsmen. It combines the tradition of log house construction with eco-friendly technology, ensuring an exceptional log house experience with your very own private hot tub set into the decking.

Ty Ceirios provides comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to four guests. While we don't offer Wi-Fi, you can stay connected with excellent mobile coverage. It has a fully fitted kitchen, an open-plan dining area, and a cosy lounge. Additionally, you'll find flat-screen TVs offering Freeview channels.

Bedroom accommodation includes a king room upstairs, a double room with a king-size bed, and a twin bedroom downstairs. You'll have the convenience of two en-suite shower rooms and a separate shower room. We supply electricity and heating, featuring underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. Your beds will be made and ready for your arrival, and we're delighted to offer cots and highchairs at no extra charge.

To enhance your stay, we provide complimentary Welsh cakes and sachets of Fairtrade tea, coffee, sugar, and hot chocolate for that special treat. You'll also find a couple of dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid to get you started, and tea towels for your convenience.

Experience the breathtaking Powys countryside from the upstairs balcony seating area or relax in the private hot tub nestled within a spacious decked area, complete with outdoor furniture. We've even set up a designated area for disposable barbecues. Ty Ceirios offers ample lawn space for games and convenient parking for two vehicles outside each cabin. To support recycling, we've placed recycling boxes outside every cabin.

Your stay here promises tranquillity and space for a serene getaway. While we regret that we cannot accommodate dogs at Ty Ceirios, we welcome one well-behaved dog at Ty Afal. Click here to view it.

In addition to the private hot tub, you can take leisurely nature walks along our meandering stream, immersing yourself in the beauty of the wildlife. Our Lovers Lake boasts a charming jetty for quiet evenings, watching the graceful dance of dragonflies during the summer.

A short stroll from the cabin will lead you to the village shop, where you'll find an abundance of local produce. Continue down the road, and you'll arrive at the local pub,  the Aleppo Merchant Inn, perfect for socializing and enjoying local fare.

Scenic Walks & Places to Visit

Ty Ceirios is an ideal base for exploring the enchanting treasures of mid-Wales. From sandy beaches to bustling market towns, mesmerizing waterfalls to ice age lakes, romantic castles to steam railways – not to mention some delightful ice cream parlours – mid-Wales has something for everyone.

Your Welsh adventure wouldn't be complete without some mountains and castles, and we have plenty of both to explore. Seek hidden castle ruins like Castell Y Bere or Powis Castle. For those yearning for a spectacular view, don't miss Cadair Idris Mountain, the gateway to Snowdonia National Park, which offers panoramic vistas from the valley to the sea.

Within an hour of Ty Ceiirios, you'll find outdoor activities galore, from cycling at Coed Y Brenin and Bwlch Nant Yr Arian cycle centres to horse trekking at Bwlch Gwyn Farm. Fishing enthusiasts will discover trout pools in the village, or you can try your luck at Clywedog Dam or river fishing on the Severn.
