The house was well equipped & exactly what we needed. There were 8 of us & the 2 bathrooms were ideal - particularly as they were separate & not en-suite. This is a great house, lovingly restored & the finish is lovely.
House much better than picture in brochure. Good location. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Kitchen well equipped.
Comfortable and well equipped flat in a great location.
The lovely character of the house and the quaint beauty of Robin Hoods Bay -
pictures do not do Sterling House justice!!
Great location of property, newly renovated. Great quality accommodation.
Lovely modern property with fantastic access to Robin Hoods Bay as well as Whitby and the surrounding area.
The house, its position and the location.
The decor was very nice and in keeping with the property. The bedrooms were clean and fitted the requirements and the bathrooms were lovely. It was a great house and I would go back again and again.
House was generally excellent and very clean. A great base for exploring the area.
The property was light and spacious with some pleasant views. The flat was well located for walking to the old village and nearby paths (Cleveland Way and Cinder Track), and for driving to other towns and attractions. It was also close to pubs and restaurants for outside dining.
Nice large property suitable for a large party, excellent facilities and position in the village.
The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The location is good, right at the top of the hill for walking to the bay with good natural light into the house. The house was exceptionally clean with very good central heating.
This house was great - it had everything to make holidaying with 3 young children easy. It was bright, with plenty of space, with a well equipped kitchen. The location was also very good, with walks on your doorstep, and close to lots of things to see and do.
A very comfortable house with lots of space in a great location.
An ideal location for walking the Cleveland Way.
The property was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and very well situated for enjoying Robin Hoods Bay. Loved it.
Property was really really nice and if we return to the area we will definitely use again.
A lovely place at the edge of a lovely village. We felt very well and would any time come back.
The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. All in all a great place to stay!
The accommodation was excellent, in a prime location at the top of the bay and near to country walks.
Accommodation was excellent throughout, modern, clean and well equipped.
This is a spacious house and it has been decorated and furnished to a very high and modern standard. This is by far the most clean and modern holiday cottage/house we have ever stayed in. The bed linen and towels were lovely. It is in a great location at the top of the village, and we had no real trouble parking. We would definitely like to come and stay here again.
A warm comfortable cottage with well equipped kitchen. Very clean. A good location to explore local area.
Immaculate accommodation in great location. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and cleanliness like I have never seen in a rented property. Very impressed.
The property was the biggest, most important part of our stay as we know the bay really well. We were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return. We were 6 adults and 2 children and we all thought we could quite easily live in this property.
Lovely apartment in an ideal setting. Very good to have two full bathrooms. Very clean. Appreciated the stack of crockery, which meant we never ran out.
Beautiful property in great location
Lovely property and great area.
Beautiful, clean and very well equipped house in a fantastic location. Already recommended to family and friends.
Sterling House was a real home from home. There was everything we needed and plenty of room so that we weren't on top of each other. It was well situated with just a steady walk down to the beach.
A fantastic property, stunning inside with everything you need. Clean and beautifully furnished and a great location. Would definitely recommend.

comfort and space
Loved the accommodation as it was well equipped, comfortable and spacious. It was very convenient for visits to lots of different places in the area. Parking was easier than I expected despite having two cars.
Great accomodation in good position with excellent amenities.
Accomodation was good, clean and better than anticipated.
Situated at the top of the hill in Robin Hood's bay near restaurants and hotels, a great base for exploring the beautiful coastline of North Yorkshire.
Great place and great location
The place is great and the location great. Robin Hoods Bay is a fantastic location with lots to do for Adults and Children alike. The apartment is fantastic and well equipped. We had a problem with the fire alarm that was promptly delt with. Unfortunately the neighbors in the apartment bellow were noisy on a couple of nights and woke us up coming home, presumably from the pub, and arguing.
ideal location and facilities.
A three generation family: we all enjoyed our stay in Sterling House. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms fully utilised as well as excellent kitchen facilities. Parking was not a problem and the garden very useful. Also useful for local shop and pubs.
Great

Good location for visiting North Yorkshire
Very clean property, with all amenities we needed.
Perfect Location and Great House!
A warm and well equipped holiday home
The house is very warm and comfortable, nicely decorated and you can walk down into Robin Hood's Bay. We were here in winter and the house was excellent. Would definitely go again.
Great house at the top of the bay
Great flat on the top two floors of the former sea captains house. Well converted, retaining original fireplaces and tiles throughout and well equipped. Has its own entrance at the side of the house, leading to hall on the ground floor and space to leave sandy walking boots! Good living space - living room with two 3 seater sofas, coffee table and TV with cable channels. Through kitchen dining room, with very well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms face the front of the house, one on top floor at the back has views towards the bay over the rooftops of other houses.
Two full bathrooms, both with showed and separate bath. All well maintained and clean. Free on street parking - limited number of spaces - but close to main car park, reasonable charges 9-6 each day.
Only a couple of minor downsides. No lamp in living room and tall people are likely to bang heads on the low ceilings on the top floor.
Great walking from RHB on the Cleveland Way path and old railway cinder track. Great walks to Ravenscar and Whitby. We ate at the Wayfarer (excellent) one night. Pub has great bay views. Sainsbury's in Whitby isn't far to stock up on food. Would stay again and recommend highly.
One of the best properties we have stayed in
Great location for Robin Hood's Bay, the coast and the moors. Spacious, well equipped and finished to a high standard. Bedrooms all a good size and the ability to choose how the beds were configured in two rooms was a real bonus when travelling with three generations. Warm and cosy, despite high ceilings. Stairs up to the flat and then up to the top floor for 3 of the 4 bedrooms should be considered if anyone is not so mobile. We didn't use the garden as it was October, but it had table, chairs and privacy.
