One of the best cottages we have ever stayed at, Fabby views, walks from the door, the owner was most helpful & welcoming. Everything you could ask for.

Peace and Quiet
We live in Harrogate, wanted a week away but not to far. Found this cottage in Swaledale a area not visited before. So we duly booked it, have just got back what a brilliant week we had glorious weather apart from one day. Lovely cosy warm cottage with unbelievable views across and up swaledale, plenty of chairs to sit on and admire the views even a summer house. As I've said didn't travel far, but we could have been a million miles away the peace and quiet was bliss watching all the wildlife, we even saw a mole. Must not forget to mention Basil the cat who greeted us every morning.
Plenty of places to eat, would recommend the Punch Bowl within walking distance and the Farmers Arms at Muker. Reeth a charming place would seem to have everything you might need. All in all a lovely holiday and a very comfy Yorkshire cottage.
'The Punch Bowl Inn' at the top of the road serves excellent meals!
Kings Head in Gunnerside had good food and very friendly. Dog and child friendly. Made very welcome by the cottage owners, and excellent spot for walkers.
The scenery was lovely, nice tranquil place to stay, very comfortable bed.
Its location and view are fantastic and the overall standard of accommodation is good.
Beautiful cottage with amazing views of Swaledale valley. Very comfortable lounge and bedrooms. It was everything that one would expect from a quaint rural cottage - Fantastic! Sunday lunch at Punchbowl Inn in Low Row village is excellent.
The view was excellent! We were allowed to take the dog, and we enjoyed being able to have meals outside.
This was a super cottage with very friendly and helpful owners. We had a superb view over Swaledale. We enjoyed the garden and the walk down to the river.
First class accommodation. We hope to return again later in the year.
The location is fantastic.
The view from the cottage, and the Yorkshire Dales are just fantastic to walk in. Good area to travel to other places.
The location of the cottage was stunning, the views were awesome. We loved the layout of the cottage and it was warm and cosy. It felt welcoming and had lots of little extras such as maps and binoculars. The double bedroom was gorgeous.
Very friendly owners, made us feel welcome. They thought about everything to make the holiday goes smoothly. The cottage was comfortable and felt like a home-from-home. Beautiful spot with a nice community.
The view from the cottage is stunning and the area is wonderful for walking and relaxing.
The views from the property were so beautiful and there are many good walks straight from the property and it was central to visit many interesting areas by car. The Punchbowl hotel/pub was very close and within walking distance and was very welcoming for a drink and meal after a long walk. Also the owners were very welcoming and made sure our stay went smoothly.
A wonderful hide-away: very comfortable accomodation, thoughtful provision (eg slow cooker -just what you need if you are out all day),quiet, stunning ,uninterupted views of the river and fells.
The cottage was very well appointed and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you could possibly need when cooking on holiday. The fridge-freezer was large. The provision of a washing machine was very useful. The living room was equipped with a good quality television and also a Blu-Ray player, which was a nice touch. The hot water was always boiling hot and there was plenty of it. The patio at the front of the house enjoys stunning views up and down the dale, and it was wonderful to sit out in the mornings and listen to the birdsong. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be returning to stay here.
Loved the location. Convenient for the Northern Dales. The cottage had wonderful views and was peaceful and tranquil.
Beautiful location with amazing views. Ideal for walking.
The cottage had everything we needed and had excellent views of Swaledale.
The view from the cottage was awesome! This cottage has to be the best we have ever stayed in, everything we needed was there.
A very comfortable and cosy cottage with all the amenities you need, even towels and hair dryer were provided. However, the best bit is definitely the amazing location. The views are outstanding!
The location was perfect for us and this comfortable cottage with a south facing view over the Dale made for a grand stay. The sun shone all week, but we would still have enjoyed Swaledale whatever the weather, in such a cosy cottage. The owners were very helpful and made us very welcome indeed. Many thanks.
A lovely cottage in outstanding countryside, could not fault the cottage. Had good dog friendly pubs and plenty of walks in the dale - couldn't ask for more.
We enjoyed the peaceful area and the views were outstanding. The owners were very friendly and helpful. A perfect place for a relaxing holiday away from the crowd.
There were wonderful views from the front or back door. We enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting watching the wildlife, and there were plenty of places to visit and eat. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.
