The 2013 Christmas Photo Competition

It's competition time again! All over the country, people will be reviewing their photographic archives in search of an image that will be good enough to be awarded the ultimate accolade: the My Holiday Marketing Christmas Card.

We are still dedicated to some of the old ways for an online company. One of them is sending a genuine, handwritten Christmas Card by Royal Mail to all those to whom we'd like to send season's greetings (around 400) by Royal Mail is one of them.

Last year's winning photo from Binney Matthews at Great Trevarron House is shown here.

For the winner, as well as gracing the front of the card, we will:

  • Send you a Christmas hamper, or if you are a cottage owner, you can have a 12-month free listing on My Favourite Holiday Cottages.
  • Please post a picture of the winning card on our Blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ pages worldwide.
  • Post it as a News Story on My Favourite Holiday Cottages.
  • We'll also send you a Christmas card!

And, of course, there is the honour, the prestige and the glory...

For the runner's up, there's a free month's listing as a Featured Favourite for your cottage on My Favourite Holiday Cottages and fully credited mentions in our popular Social Media outpourings.

How to Enter

We're looking for something distinctive. It can be traditional or contemporary. Snow is optional. It can be of your cottage (inside or out) or landscape. We don't have a set image in mind - just something that makes us pause and admire when it opens.

You'll need to send it to us by the 18th of November, so you haven't got long!

You can email us as many entries as you like. The bigger, the better, but please keep each email below 10MB.

When sending an image, you also confirm that you are the image owner and give us the right to use it to promote the My Holiday Marketing Ltd Christmas card.

Our decision for the winning entry is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. All entries must be submitted by 9.00 am on the 18th of November, 2013.

Best of luck, and we look forward to seeing all the wintery photos.
