Woodbank is a large self-catering holiday home with beautiful rural views close to the Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales. It has been finished and furnished with a range of period furniture to the highest standards. Woodbank is a beautiful holiday home celebrating its heritage by combining modern conveniences with stylish designs and fittings. Woodbank has eight bedrooms and six bathrooms, sleeps 20 people and does not accept pets.

The stunning kitchen at Woodbank has a four-oven double Aga with two hobs, a hot plate, and an additional electric oven. There are two fridges, two freezers, a dishwasher, a tumble dryer and a washing machine. This is a beautiful room complete with an elegant Welsh dresser and two Belfast sinks set on a tiled floor that is modern and yet enhances the features of the traditional building. There is an open-plan dining room with a table and chairs that seat eight people behind a large bay window that leads on from the kitchen.

If you plan on having a large celebration, a big family gathering or a reunion, the formal dining room is spectacular, traditionally styled with an impressive large solid wood table below a beautiful chandelier. This is a perfect room for a formal family or group dinner. The formal living room has seating for up to 14 people, again with a range of period and elegant furniture: an additional smaller living room or snug seats up to 9 people. In addition to this beautiful space, there is a full-size snooker table in the modern snooker room, a gym, and a relaxation room complete with its own wall-mounted TV and sofas.

The accommodation at Woodbank comprises eight bedrooms set over three floors:

• one double bedroom with ensuite bath and handheld shower,

• one twin bedroom also with ensuite bath

• one twin bedroom also with ensuite bath and separate shower.

• One family room with one double bed, two single beds, and an ensuite bathroom complete with a separate shower.

• One family room with one double bed and two single beds, an ensuite bath, and a separate shower.

On the ground floor there are:

• one twin bedroom with a super king-size double bed or a twin zip-and-link bed.

• two twin bedrooms on the lower ground floor, one with its own wash hand basin.

There is an additional toilet on the ground floor with a wash hand basin and a family bathroom with a bath and shower.

There are many things to do while on holiday in the Woodbank area and many places to explore in South Wales, from the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons to the coastal resorts of Barry and Porthcawl. Being just a short drive from the Celtic Manor resort, Woodbank is perfect if you love golf and is also great if you want to explore Cardiff to watch the rugby and cricket, go shopping in the fantastic shopping centre or visit the Wales Millennium Centre.
