lovely white cottage in a great location with amazing views. facilities are great and modern. lots of space for the little ones and also incl safety gates and cots.
the kitchen was good but lacks pots and pans
overall a great place to stay and will revisit in the future
Lovely cottage
Our week spent at Braich Y Celyn was most enjoyable in a very comfortable cottage situated in an ideal private location. The advantage of being able to park outside is quite considerable for aberdovey, and the close proximity to the main seafront area is really convenient particularly with the free car park pass provided.
The cottage is warm and comfortable with all modern conveniences apart from a microwave which would be difficult to fit in. Everything was as promised on booking and we will look to stay there again.
Beautiful accommodation with fab view
Lovely cottage with great view. Spotless and pleasant decor. Ideal spot for touring the area and very nice beach locally.
peace & quite with outstanding views & wild life
the house is well placed and easy to find,
the layout was modern and well layed out with comfortable beds. For our first first holiday in Wales this was a good location to pick, we found plenty of places to go and eat, we dined out 6 out of 7 nights. We will defenently going back soon.
Delightful cottage in a delightful situation
My elderly mother and I had a very good week staying in this cottage with plenty of room for four if needed. My mother was a little anxious about the gap in the banister at the bottom of the stairs but she adjusted and after that we just enjoyed its cosiness and superior views. It is very well equipped and has lots of little touches that show the thoughtfulness of the owner. We would stay there again in a flash as apart from its own features it is a good centre to explore and enjoy the mid Wales area.
The location was intimate and a perfect place for getting around Wales. The landlord had thought of everything to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible, even down to the little touches such as leaving the card for the video shop. There was a huge welcome pack that gave us lots of information for the local area. The decor was superb and really made us feel at home by using quality products throughout. A fantastic property all round!
We loved the views across the estuary; it was amazing when the sun was shining on it when we got up. The log fire was great and we just liked the peace and quiet. A good base to travel around from with train and bus handy. A great place to wind down after all the sight seeing
Beautiful cottage, in a stunning location. The view is outstanding.
Fantastic location, stunning views. Really nice property and lots to do in the surrounding areas!
Would recommend this property again and again.
Have a wonderful time!
This was a beautiful cottage in a lovely village with wonderful views.
The cottage was very well appointed and was a good base to use for the various attractions in the area.
A very good cottage in a lovely area.
A very pretty cottage, with wonderful views from every window. Close to Aberdovey, which is a pretty little town with plenty of places to eat. Though it might be advisable to reserve a table on a busy Saturday evening. When we lit the woodburning stove in the lounge it was really cosy. The cottage is nicely decorated and we should really have counted how many decorative hearts we could find!
Loved the location, cottage cosy. Views amazing, walks in local area great, near to the village. Fabulous holiday all round. Didn't want to come home.
Views were stunning and in a very good location close to Aberdovey. A particularly good base to explore Wales though not much open during our visit but this was expected.
Everyone, including the owner, was particularly helpful. A very comfortable and characterful cottage in an ideal position.
The accommodation, the area and the people were all very nice. An excellent cottage with great views across the Dovey estuary.
It was a very good base for site seeing. Beaches very good. Views magnificent.
The weather, wildlife around the cottage, view of the estuary, beaches, the good food, how friendly people were, slower pace of life, how clean we found the towns and villages in Wales. We noticed the difference as soon as we re-entered England. Well done Wales!
Beautiful cottage in a spectacular location. Aberdovey is only a two minute drive and it's excellent for the beach and eating out.
Very quiet isolated location although it was near the main road. Traffic was very light and did not trouble us.
Very good parking space for two cars.
Made welcome by the owner with a bottle of wine. Views excellent from the cottage. Generally well equipped for most of our needs. We would love to stay there again.
The views were spectacular. Idyllic position. Loved Aberdovey and the walking.
The property was in the most beautiful position, with stunning views, a real retreat.
Great views, cosy and warm. Good sized beds, plenty of towels and hot water. Clear instructions for use of the cottage.
The view from the cottage is absolutely stunning, the location is perfect for a quiet holiday - and on a cold windy night the log burner hits the spot.
Overall the cottage was excellent, very comfortable in a stunning location overlooking the Dyfi estuary. The fixture and fittings were good the equipment comprehensive, everything we needed was there and functioning.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Fantastic location, with beautiful views of the estuary.
Ideal retreat for a holiday
Everything about our stay was perfect. The Lodge, the views and the peaceful surroundings. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and shall definitely be recommending it to our friends and family. It was a welcome break where we could unwind and relax in a very cosy comfortable place. Thank you for our memorable stay.
Liked the cosy cottage, heated floor, log burner and the fantastic view of the estuary. A great place.
This is a characterful, little cottage. It was squeaky clean and well presented.
