Old Chapel

The Old Chapel is a masterfully converted chapel set on 10 acres of meadows just moments from the coast of Clovelly and North Devon. The grand cottage boasts grounds with a pond and space to wander, sea views and many traditional features, including a floor-to-ceiling fireplace with an open fire.

Ten meadows surround the cottage, offering space to wander and play. They include a pond, a lawned area, a furnished patio for al fresco dining, and drinks for an evening.

The interior of the former chapel boasts eight-foot-high church windows, vaulted beamed ceilings, and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace with an open fire which centres the sitting area. The galleried snug overlooks the sitting room, and the well-stocked library enjoys views. An elegant dining area will draw the family together, and the modern, well-equipped kitchen features a breakfast area.

Views can also be enjoyed from the bedrooms, which feature a more traditional character and include a twin room, a double with TV, a twin with en-suite shower and a room with a king-size bed, TV, private balcony and en-suite with bath and shower.

Guests at The Old Chapel are treated to traditional and beautiful grounds. They can rely on WiFi, amenities for young children, parking, central heating and laundry facilities, 3 TVs with Freeview, DVDs, and a selection of books, maps, games, and DVDs.

The Old Chapel lies on a vast property just minutes from Clovelly and places guests close to Bucks Cross, Bideford, Barnstaple and Hartland Point, Westward Ho!, the Big Sheep Adventure Park and the glorious North Devon countryside.
