2.5 miles outside the little Welsh village of Llansannan near Llanrwst in the unspoiled Conwy Valley in North Wales lies a secluded group of four Holiday Cottages converted from farm buildings. The Hendre Aled Farmhouse is set in 18 acres of countryside and sleeps 12 people. If booked with the other three cottages—all barn conversions—up to 25 guests can be accommodated.

The pet-friendly rural Farmhouse has a large garden full of character -with oak-beamed ceilings, an ingle­ nook fireplace and two wood burners. Being in a secluded location some distance from urban areas, the dark skies at night provide superb stargazing opportunities (no telescope required). Local places to visit and indulge in off-road/scrambling and cycling with the children are Mynydd Hiraethog (Denbigh Moors), Llyn Brenig, the Alwyn and Aled reservoirs and Clocaenog Forest. Drive north to the close-by Abergele and North Wales coastline, while just 10 miles to the west, the iconic village of Betws-y-Coed with its Victorian charm and the Snowdonia National Park await exploration.
