Mill Cottage, Tintagel

Although our stay was spoilt by the weather our stay overall was good. The accomadation was of a good standard and clean and the location was excellent and with better weather it would have been have great to make more use of the gardens and gorgeous free flowing stream that runs down the side of the cottage.
The cottage is situated in extrememly quiet location just out of Tintagel but a walk over the hills sees you in tintagel for the local pubs. We travelled around from our location to other places in Cornwall and found them easy to get to and the return was like wise.
We went with our two children then 15 13 and despite the weather.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at The Mill House. The setting was memorable to say the least. The open fire and stream outside the lounge window will stay with us for a long time. We would recommend this location without hesitation.

The cottage, the location, the welcome were excellent. To see beautiful scenery you do not need a car, step out of the front door and you are there. The walks from the cottage are superb. We hope to return in the near future.

Although we had a wet week, and couldn't do all we would have liked, we were very satisfied with this comfortable cottage. It is set is a pretty location beside a stream set in well kept grounds. The cottage is clean and welcoming.

Our stay at Mill Cottage was superb and we would not hesitate to reccommend it. The location is stunning, with lovely walks all around and the villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are within easy reach. The service we received was excellent, with a warm welcome on arrival. We particularly loved the peace and quiet and the walk up to St Nectan's Kieve is beautiful, with the reward of the amazing and stunning waterfall en route. We cannot wait to return!

What a charming cottage this turned out to be. The view from the rear window looking up into wooded valley and rushing mill stream was adelight.

The cottage was very well equipt, from the kitchen to livingroom and bedrooms. The owners wre very welcoming and nothing was a bother if you wanted anything or query were to go.

All in all a very nice and picturesque little cottage. Would definetly gbook this cottage again.

What a fantastic property! Quiet, beautiful surroundings, trickling stream and a log fire. Who could ask for more? We have had a wonderful week and feel well rested and very relaxed. The property is clean and the kitchen well equipped. The owner was very helpful although we didn't see much of him. Lots of excellent walking in the surrounding area and beaches close by. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

The setting of the cottage is just perfect with its own private woodland walk to a beautiful waterfall. A real escape to the country!

We loved the character of the cottage. It had a really genuine feel to it. The gardens surrounding the property are particularly beautiful and you are free to enjoy them whenever you like.

Excellent cottage, warm and comfortable with a charming stream behind. Owner really seemed to care about the place and your stay there. The scenery was breathtaking and seeing animals in the wild (especially seals) really made the holiday.

The setting of the cottage was lovely, with beautiful scenery! And the facilities were generally excellent. It's a great area for country walks and the coastal views are gorgeous!

The setting of the cottage was delightful, the mill stream running around the cottage was a wonderful sound. The view of the woods around the back of the house was glorious. The cottage was very well-equipped with everything needed to manage comfortably for a week.

The cottage was beautiful and situated next to a stream and woods. It was also only a nice short walk to Tintagel or the coast. We enjoyed a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend staying here.

Another wonderful stay at Mill Cottage! I particularly love the location of the cottage as it is so quiet and peaceful, making for an extremely relaxing holiday. The sound of the mill stream flowing past the cottage also makes it very special and it is an ideal place to recharge your batteries. The cottage itself is very warm and welcoming, with a lovely homely atmosphere and I cannot wait for my next visit!

The cottage was in a wonderful location and the stream running through the property looks delightful. A great deal of effort has gone into the preparation of the gardens and blends in perfectly with the woods that are adjacent to the property. It has good access to the local public footpaths and the wildlife in the area is quite diverse. The cottage had plenty of charm, we would certainly return and not hesitate to recommend.

The house was in a beautiful setting in its own little valley. The landscaping was magnificent.

The beautiful setting was by far the best feature of the cottage. Overlooking the mill stream was idyllic. The garden was lovely and being able to walk out into the woodland was amazing. The owner was very nice. Everything we needed was there and the beds were comfortable.

Mill Cottage is a delightful cottage in a magical woodland setting. There are many lovely walks close to the cottage. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and well-equipped and the owner is very helpful and friendly. This is a place we would happily recommend and hope to maybe stay again sometime.

The owner was very welcoming and left us to enjoy our holiday but was there if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again if holidaying in this area and would recommend the cottage.

The cottage is situated in a small complex of accommodation beside a stream and surrounded by woodland. This idyllic setting sets the tone for a relaxing holiday in a special place. The cottage overlooks the gardens which lead to the walk through the woods up to a waterfall some 40 minutes away.
