Talland Bay is a magical location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the cosy South Cornwall coast near Looe and Polperro. Its main attraction is the lovely coastal scenery with two small sandy beaches (once popular with smugglers), one offering larger boulders that kids will love to climb. Walk to the popular and attractive Cornish resorts of Looe or Polperro along the spectacular coastal footpath. Both still operate as traditional visitors but offer plenty of attractions, tea rooms and restaurants to welcome visitors. From here, you can rent boats, go mackerel fishing or watch the comings and goings in the harbours. The magnificent Eden Project is also within easy reach, and it's a relatively easy drive to the dramatic beaches pounded by the wild Atlantic surf on the North Coast of Cornwall.
