On approach, Bwthyn Gwyn is easy on the eye. The exposed stone walls perfectly contrast with verdant plants and bold primary colour finishes on the beams and doorways.
From inside, guests are treated to a spacious, open single-storey cottage, with large walkways and bay windows that saturate the rooms in natural light. The property boasts a living room with wooden flooring, a cool navy theme across the furniture and an operating wood burner for cosy nights in.
Through the archway is the generously sized kitchen and dining area, with a fully fitted kitchen suite with all electric appliances in a charming cream finish to contrast the bold reds of the walls and dining table.
Further down are two large double and twin bedrooms, boasting a nautical theme decor with wooden panelled walls, whitewashed stone, and darkened rustic furniture. The contemporary family bathroom, with a bath and shower, completes the property.
You are ideally placed to explore the coastal lines of the island, with the beaches of Beaumaris and Plas Newydd just a short distance away. Guests can easily get onto the mainland, explore Penrhyn and Snowdonia, and enjoy the many local pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Wonderful Cottage
We found this cottage on the internet and loved the look of it. On arrival it lived up to the expectation with a warm welcome from the owner and his dog who quickly adopted us as playmates for the week (the dog not the owner!!!). The cottage is in a beautiful setting and has been renovated to a high standard. It is very well equipped and in an excellent location for all of Anglesey as well as the Welsh mainland, including Snowdonia (visible from the settee)

The cottage was in a good location and the view was amazing! The cottage was newly decorated and finished to a high specification, very contemporary. The owners were very helpful and even left us a lovely cake. I would definitely go again and have told friends about it too. Lovely log burner and atmosphere, a great getaway!
The standard was very high and the views were fantastic. We loved the log fire. We found it handy for beaches like Red Wharf, and Benllech, situated on a lovely quiet lane. The owners of cottage are a very nice couple. One of the best holidays so far with Sykes.

Very stylish and well thought out cottage in an excellent location for good access to all areas, and yet felt well and truly off the beaten track. Owners live on site but were completely unobtrusive, although charming and helpful if needed.

Bwthyn Gwyn is in a pleasant, rural location with great views towards Snowdonia.
We loved the wow factor of the glass walls in the living room, and also the swallows nesting right above the door. All in all a very nice, comfortable cottage with great views of Snowdonia.

A lovely relaxing setting ideal for children. It was easy to get to places.
We loved the layout of the cottage and the view of the garden and beyond from the picture window made it a pleasure to return to each evening. Lots to do for us on the island and nearby. An enjoyable holiday was had by all.
The owners left you to your own devices but were very friendly and helpful when needed. The cottage was cosy and warm and staying in due to inclement weather was a pleasure, especially the views out of the window in the lounge.

The owner gave us a warm welcome and was such a nice person. The cottage was warm, cosy and quiet. We lit the wood burning fire as it was December and very cold outside. The beds were comfortable and clean and the place was well decorated. The views from the double aspect windows in the lounge were amazing. We hope to book again soon as it was so relaxing and quiet.

We have just returned from a relaxing long weekend away at Bwthyn Gwyn. Everything about this cottage was brilliant and the owners were on hand for any problems. The location was fab, only a few minutes from the main road but has amazing views.
We particularly liked the comfort and homeliness of this property and surrounding area. Excellent shower, and always plenty of hot water. Our boys loved the steps between the kitchen and living room, these had an unexpected appeal. The beautiful views from the living room, comfy sofas and the log burner made for lovely cosy evenings in.

We liked this place so much we didn't want to leave. Honestly, it was just perfect for us. All you could see through the large lounge windows were trees and birds and the mountains in the distance. Just perfect. The cottage was very well equipped and decorated really well. The bathroom was very clean and modern, as was the kitchen.
