Dating back to the 17th century, the cottage is full of pretty design features with latch doors and black and white beams.

The modern kitchen has a breakfast area and is well-equipped with a utility which houses the laundry facilities.

There are two sitting rooms, one of which has a more formal dining area and an open fire which is perfect for spending time with the whole group over an evening meal.

Completing the ground floor accommodation is a snug which has a woodburner where you can curl up in the evening with a good book.

The bedrooms are set across the first floor and include two double rooms with an en-suite each and two twin rooms which share use of the family bathroom.

The outside space at this cottage and the surrounding village views are what makes this a truly special location.

The lawned garden has a patio and furniture and offers plenty of space for the children and dogs to play.

A bench to the front gives you the perfect spot to watch the birds come and go from the river.

With a shop set within the converted dovecote, a village pub and tearoom, this quaint village is a perfect location for a holiday at any time of year.

The town of Hay-on-Wye is a fantastic day out and there are many fantastic areas of countryside nearby including the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park.
