    Washing machine needs replacing. Provision of an information folder would be useful e.g. map of local walks from cottage. We would stay again.

Buxton 7 miles; Leek 7 miles.

Flash is a tiny village in the Staffordshire Moorlands district of the Peak District, between the market towns of Buxton and Leek and is also at 1518 ft above sea level, is the highest village in Britain. Flash is situated in some of the most picturesque and unspoilt areas of the Peak District countryside. With an air of peace and tranquillity, Flash is in a great location to enjoy the full extent of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the rest of the Peak District. Nearby Tittesworth Reservoir is situated in superb scenery, has a wonderful children's playground and visitors centre, and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. Nearby, the 'Manifold Trail' follows the route of the old Leek to Manifold Light Railway, while golf, horse riding, cycling and sailing are all available within 7 miles. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and the historic town of Buxton.
