Glebe Cottage is a large but cosy, bright four-bedroom holiday home on the edge of Little Petherick near Padstow. It is set in its own lovely south-facing garden.

This newly renovated Cornish self-catering property has a generous open-plan layout, creating the ideal socialising space and allowing everyone to gather together. The lounge and dining room share a cosy double fronted wood burning stove and stunning feature stone fireplace. The lounge has three comfy sofas, an armchair, a large TV and a Bluetooth speaker. There is a dining table and chairs to seat 8, and the country kitchen is well-equipped for dining at home. There is a Rangemaster gas hob with an electric fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, and Delonghi coffee machine. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.

From the spacious driveway, there is a handy, separate utility room with a sink, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There are rails to hang wetsuits and secure storage for surfboards, bikes, or golf clubs.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with a super-king bed. It has a stunning en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and freestanding bath. Opposite the master is another bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite shower room. Both rooms are tastefully decorated with carefully curated antique pieces and local original artwork adorning the walls.

On the second-floor landing is a viewing area with a full-height vaulted window. You can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and glorious Cornish sunsets from here. A bedroom with a king-size bed, exposed beams, and a full-height ceiling is on one side of the landing. It has an en-suite shower room. On the opposite side of the landing is a bedroom with two single beds. This room also has exposed beams, full-height ceilings and a stunning window sill made from local Delabole slate. This room also has an en-suite shower room.

The gardens are delightful, with a large wrap-around patio, outdoor dining area and sun loungers. The lawn gently falls away to the fields beyond and is the perfect spot in the warm Cornish evenings. There is also a BBQ for al-fresco dining.

Just sit back and enjoy the beauty of this unique destination. Sunbathe on the patio and enjoy the views of the countryside. Picnic on one of the local beaches - Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine - or hop over the Camel on the short ferry ride to Rock and Daymer Bay. The Camel Estuary is famous as a foodie destination. Padstow is home to many artisan shops, galleries and historic inns. Rick Stein and neighbouring chefs have put Padstow very firmly on the culinary map, and it’s the perfect place to sample great Cornish food and drink.
